Nicholas Foster has over twenty years of experience working in the data protection field (incorporating the European General Data Protection Regulations) across public and private sectors. He is director of a limited company covering data protection and subject access requests. Also, head of information governance at the largest provider of social care in the private sector.
Having qualified as an attorney-at -law in 2002 coupled with a post graduate diploma in law from City University, London, he subsequently acquired a master’s degree in information rights law at Northumbria University, United Kingdom.
Alongside his data protection practice Nicholas’ career includes university lecturing positions on advanced legal courses and developing and delivering accredited courses in complaint management and alternative dispute resolution. Courses were delivered to various private and public sector organisations, including the Information Commissioner’s Office - the UK’s data protection regulator.
